Job responsibilities

• Carrying out preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs on a range of forklifts and warehouse trucks (heftrucks en magazijntrucks) at various customer sites within the assigned region
• Diagnosing technical faults and resolving breakdowns on-site, often under time pressure to minimise customer downtime

Requirements

• A technical vocational or professional qualification, for example in electromechanics, electrical engineering, maintenance technology, or an equivalent level gained through hands-on work experience
• A solid practical grounding in electricity, mechanics and/or hydraulics is preferred; prior experience specifically with forklifts or warehouse trucks is useful but not required, as full product training is provided
• A willingness to keep learning and to work independently in the field
• Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing daily circumstances (different customers, different faults, different locations)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, since the role involves daily, direct contact with customers and colleagues
