Senior Specialist – Cybersecurity & IT

Kia Connect GmbH  ·  Frankfurt am Main , Germany

Full-time €4,200–€5,750 / Month Mid Level – 3–5 years in cybersecurity experience

Job description

Senior Specialist Cybersecurity & IT Solutions Delivery – Kia Connect GmbH, Frankfurt am Main, Germany

Job Overview

Kia Connect GmbH is recruiting a Senior Specialist for Cybersecurity & IT Solutions Delivery at its Frankfurt am Main site. The role is full-time, advertised at mid level, and open to applicants of all genders.

It is a hybrid of two disciplines. One half is security: protecting Kia Connect’s connected vehicle and data platforms, running risk assessments and vulnerability management, and operating incident response. The other is delivery: coordinating IT projects, managing vendors and keeping initiatives on schedule and to standard.

Automotive cybersecurity regulation sits at the centre of the work, with UN R155, ISO/SAE 21434 and ISO 27001 named explicitly. EUJOBHUB summarises the vacancy; Kia Connect manages applications.

About the Role

Kia Connect, founded in 2019 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Kia Europe, runs the group’s connected car services in Europe. Securing those services means securing backend systems, APIs, networks and applications, not just endpoint devices.

The employer describes the role as blending technical and administrative security duties with project coordination — providing security guidance across the whole lifecycle of IT projects so risks surface early, and working across engineering, IT operations and data and analytics teams on secure design.
